It was winter.
It was cold, it was winter, so what?
You were walking somewhere.
I was on my way, the town was near, nearish.
Where did you sleep?
I slept on floors with friends and listened to music in basements below.
Did you think of me?
I tried, don't laugh, but once I hugged you stoned in the night, crying with a friend in the rain.
So one night you came to me...
Yes, where is this going?
It's just that I too remember that night clearly, when you came to me in the rain
and how the stars soon joined us
